Achetez-moi, je vous paie inverse les logiques classiques du marché de l’art. Le visiteur est invité à « acheter » une œuvre en acceptant de recevoir une somme d’argent. Ici, la transaction ne repose pas sur un acte d’acquisition mais sur un pacte implicite d’accueil : accueillir une œuvre dans sa vie, lui accorder une place mentale, symbolique, existentielle — et, en retour, être rémunéré pour cette disponibilité.
L’œuvre offerte devient alors l’objet du transfert, mais sans que l’internaute n’ait à la choisir, ni même à la comprendre pleinement. Ce geste artistique interroge la valeur attribuée à l’art, le rôle de l’intention, la circulation des formes et la monétisation de la contemplation.

Buy Me, I Will Pay You reverses the traditional logics of the art market. The visitor is invited to “purchase” a work by accepting a sum of money. Here, the transaction is not based on an act of acquisition, but on an implicit pact of welcome: to welcome a work into one’s life, to grant it a mental, symbolic, existential space — and in return, to be compensated for this openness.
The gifted artwork thus becomes the object of transfer, without the visitor needing to choose it, or even fully understand it. This artistic gesture questions the value attributed to art, the role of intention, the circulation of forms, and the monetization of contemplation.
